Join this live online course and learn how to bake delicious sourdough bread at home. Beat your personal best, or impress family and friends.
In this course we will cover the same content that we cover in our in-person Sourdough Masterclass 1.0
- The theory of sourdough bread and natural fermentation.
- The 7 steps of baking with natural fermentation
- Filled with tips and live demonstrations to help you with feeding, mixing, kneading, shaping, scoring and the final bake.
You'll unlock the instincts you need at each stage to ferment better, make better dough and bake better bread.
In this interactive session you can participate. Ask questions. Maybe even show us an example of your recent bake. The more you ask the more you'll benefit and so will everyone in the stream. You'll get a recording of the stream to be able to refer back to it as you start practising on your own. The live-stream is limited to 12 participants.
Get view-only access with the "fly on the wall" option. This option give you access to the 4 hour live stream and the recording on 31 July 2021. We will send you the link a couple of days before.
Make sure you have a solid internet connection for best results.
You’ll need a stable speed of at least 7 Mbps.
We strongly recommend plugging in directly to your router.
For a better experience, use a computer if possible (instead of a mobile)
In order to practice after the course, you will need:
Planetary mixer (highly recommended, although we will cover a hand-only process too)
Stick blender, nutribullet or food processor
Very informative, I have been making small mistakes that add up to a huge mess if you don't understand the logistics of each step correctly. This definitely ironed out the wrinkles, and was well worth the while. I would recommend this to anyone starting out on their Motherdough journey!
Great. It was informative and visual. Everything in one session of 4 hours. Would love to do a "real" class one day but this will have to do till then. Lance has the personality that makes you feel you can contact him anytime if things go wrong with your Motherdough starter....
