The Motherdough U "Pizza & Focaccia Workshop" takes your basic sourdough knowledge and amplifies your bread basket with sourdough bread of different styles in this Pizza & Focaccia workshop.

Sourdough 1.0 or experience with some sourdough baking will be a valuable grounding to do this course.

The full day course unpacks 3 Motherdough recipes, as well as preparation of preferments for these bakes.

At the end of the day you will be able to:

  • Use your Motherdough to prepare the required pre-ferments for pizza and ciabatta.

  • Tackle the high hydrations and finicky fermentation of these doughs,

  • Use your mixer effectively for the recipe.

This 1-day immersion is a fantastic gift idea too. 

The course is held on from 9am to 6pm. It includes a light lunch. Every participant also receives a free Motherdough culture. In CPT the courses are held at the Motherdough Studio in CPT CBD. In JNB they are held in Sandton.
